Solange Knowles Says She Was Never That Interested In Fashion!! Also Check For a SNEAK Peek Of Her New Song

The beautiful and stylish Solange Knowles recently told Lurve Magazine:

'I've never really been that interested in 'fashion'.

The songwriter, singer, model, DJ, is known for her daring looks.  So it's surprising to hear her say she never was interested in fashion.

'Look at my fashion choices back in the day. You know how people say 'Who let her walk out the house that way?' or 'She needs more people!' ''

 ''Once I really defined my expectations in terms of how to navigate through the fashion world without getting myself too invested, I've had a hell of a lot of fun.''





You can also catch a sneak peek of her new song and video "Losing You".  The full track will be released October 2nd.  She filmed the video recently in Cape Town, South Africa



"The locations for my video will largely be inspired by the color in the architecture and townships around here. We'll just take a camera and see what happens," she said of the setting. The video will come out in October, but the exact release date hasn't been announced.

The Fashionista June Ambrose was out for NYFW in two different outfits. She went with a brighter outfit with the Nanette Lepore ensamble.  She added a pink turban, python wedges and a neon bag to complete the look.



June Ambrose went in a different direction for the screening of Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorfs.  She wore a floor length, low cut  wrap gown with longs sleeves.  She paired it with a silver clutch and her signature red lip.  I live for this look!  She looks stunning.

Beyonce & Jay-Z Raise $4Million At Obama Fundraiser

Beyonce' and Jay-Z hosted a $40,000-per ticket fundraiser at Jay-Z's 40/40 club.  Approximately 100 people attended. An one attendee stated:

"the couple’s sports-club affair as taking place in a “large, dark glassy room” filled with donors, who paid $40,000 each, wearing suits and dresses, and sitting on sofas. The reports continues, “Small tables of wine, champagne and finger food, including sliders, were in front of them.”

The President spoke highly of the power couple:

“Let me just begin by saying to Jay and Bey, thank you so much for your friendship. We are so grateful. Michelle and Malia and Sasha are mad at me because they are not here. (Laughter.) That doesn’t usually happen. Usually they’re like, we’re glad you’re going—we don’t need to go. But every time they get a chance to see these two they are thrilled, partly because they are just both so generous, particularly to my kids. And Malia and Sasha just love both of them.

Beyoncé couldn’t be a better role model for our daughters because she carries herself with such class and poise—(applause)—and has so much talent. And Jay-Z now knows what my life is like. Mariah Carey & Nicki Minaj Are Already At It!!!

Ryan Seacrest announced over the weekend that Nicki Minaj indeed will judge American Idol,  along with Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson and Keith Urban.

During their first taping on Sunday in New York.  Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj are said to be talking over one another.  TMZ:

Carey and Nicki Minaj went at it during the first "A.I." taping Sunday in NYC. When Nicki started critiquing a contestant, Mariah would interrupt -- not once, but many times. Each time Mariah interrupted, Nicki fought back by loudly talking over Mariah.

One "A.I." spy said Mariah and Nicki tried to cover their disdain for each other but everyone saw through it, adding, "These girls just don't like each other."

I'm not to sure if this a true beef or American Idol creating drama for ratings.

Eddie Murphy Dining Out With A Mystery Woman

Eddie Murphy was seen with a new mystery woman and it wasn't Rocsi.

Eddie Murphy now 51, was seen outside of Mastro's Steakhouse hopping into his ride with a blonde. Eddie and Rocsi were last seen together in Hawaii with Eddie's children.



Rumors started a few weeks ago of the pair calling it quits.



He looks to be doing just fine without the 106 and park host.
